The Bakersfield Black Dollar Initiative (BBDI) is an organization that seeks to promote Awareness, Patronization and Economic Development of Small, Mom & Pop, Brick n’ Mortar Black-Owned and Franchised Businesses locally and regionally.
Our hope and intent is to promote the existence of these businesses to develop a continued customer relationship through consistent patronization and the recycling of the Black Dollar, through communication, collaboration and connective events, whereby Supporting One Another On PURPOSE!
STILL consciously thinking of recirculating our Black dollars within our Black-owned businesses, our hope and intent is to become and remain a strong thriving unified community.
